Rolling doubles at Kmart starting Sunday 4/4

It's that fabulous time of year again! Kmart double coupons are back for five days starting this Sunday 4/4/10. Coupons up to $2.00 will be doubled. So if you have a $2.00 coupon, its value will be $4.00 during this event.  They will not give you overage. That means if your coupon is for $1.50 it will double to $3.00, if your item costs less than $3.00 you will get the item for free. The list of participating stores can be found here. 

Now, I'll be the first to admit it is not as exciting as it has been in years past as the limit is now 5 coupons per person per day.  They now require you to have a Kmart Rewards card - presumably to track and enforce the 5 per day limit. It is a free card but requires registration, you can sign up here (although at this late date it may be better to just sign up in the store). While I am not a big Kmart shopper as the closest one to me is about a half hour away, double coupons are double coupons!   My Frugal Adventures has put together a really great list of coupon match ups so stop on over there and check it out.
